Alan Walts

Alan Walts

I have no past... I was born from a lotus, fully formed, I have been playing bass for 10 days, practicing yoga for 5 days, and have mastered them both. Feel free to toss gold coins at me at any of the Jagati shows... you will become enlightened, immediately.

Brent Byron Miller

Brent began practicing Hatha Yoga in 1998. He received one of his first hatha yoga teaching certifications from the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA. A strong focus in Brent’s teaching is empowering his students to help them find a balance between a strong attitude, correct alignment and proper action in their poses, bringing their bodies and hearts into alignment. Brent is an Anusara-inspired yoga instructor, a musician and song writer in the band Jagati, and a student of massage therapy.

Rich Logan

Rich Logan has been playing guitar for about 27 years. The longer he plays the more he gravitates towards simplicity. A massage therapist and yoga instructor, Rich has traveled around the world studying a variety of modalities in touch, movement and musical expression. Originally a piano player, Rich was given a guitar out of the back of a station wagon and was hooked on the immediacy of the instrument. "Playing guitar is like a blend of psychotherapy and spiritual release. It's all about the expression of the moment and releasing the past."

Sarah Richelle Starnes

Sarah began practicing Hatha Yoga when she was twelve, and has always been very connected to a spiritual path in life. She is an Anusara-inspired yoga instructor. Sarah has had many wonderful teachers including Sianna Sherman, John Friend, Darren Rhodes, Ross Rayburn, Billie Topa Tate, Ganga White, Mitchel Bleier, Paul Grilley, Doug Keller and Brent Miller. She has studied and practiced yoga, chanting, kirtan and meditation with Sarah Starnes and Brent Miller over the past several years. Stephanie has also studied Anusara yoga with Doug Keller and Yin yoga with Paul Grilley. Her other interests include painting, photography, nutrition, herbalogy, dance/choreography, middle eastern dance, music, theater, partner yoga, hiking, caving and playing wind instruments.

Tom Sharpe

A classically trained musician, Tom has blended his orchestral background with world music instrumentation to create an experience that invites the listener into the heart of the musical moment – wildly emotional and technically precise, with a gutsy edge of percussive frenzy and tribal ritual. TOM SHARPE is a critically acclaimed, internationally recognized, award-winning composer, performer, and recording artist. He is a sought out clinician and performer of his own works, as well as a member of Jagati. He is a former member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
